Have a New York Jets tailgate party. Pick a home game a few weeks away to give your guests time for tickets. Send out invitations that read” Let’s celebrate the past and future Super Bowl Champions the New York Jets. Mark you Spot in the parking lot with a life-size cut-out figure of a football player. If you can’t find one in a Jets uniform, then color in the cut-out with the Jets team colors of hunter green and white. Hang some Jets pennants from the food table and on the car, truck or van. Some guests will eat before the game, some after and some both. So have plenty of food and make sure there is a way to either cook it in the parking lot or re-heat it. Hot dogs and Sausage dogs with pepper and onions make a good tailgate main dish. Then just add potato salad and a few of your favorite picnic style side dishes.
