The Baltimore Ravens were the Super Bowl XXXV Champions in 2000, which is always a reason to throw a football party. Make it special and invite your fellow fans to come in the team colors; black, purple, metallic gold, and white. Start out by getting DVDs or VCR tapes of Super Bowl XXXV and the Super Bowl XXXV interview DVD. You may need to rent a VCR for the Super Bowl videotape but it’s worth it; check at an electronics store. Make a banner that proudly proclaims the Baltimore Ravens as the 2000 Super Bowl Champions. Hang black, purple, gold and white streamers from the banner.

Play the interview DVD as guests arrive and then the Super Bowl DVD after the party is well underway. Set the table with the team colors and put pompoms in team colors on the corners with a few purple, white and gold balloons. Make a large sign with the Edgar Allan Poe poem “The Raven”, since that’s where the team gets its name. Don’t forget pictures of their mascot Edgar Allan Poe himself and their two live raven mascots Rise and Conquer. Put a few Poe facts on a sign near the photo.

Make up Baltimore Ravens trivia questions for a party game when the guests aren’t watching and reliving the 2000 Super Bowl. Serve food that can be easily taken into the room where the game is on. So have lots of chips, dip, chicken wings, pizza and cold drinks. A Ravens’ football helmet would make a great center piece.
